THE TACOMA EVENTS COMMISSION seeks volunteers to help with the annual Fourth of July Extravaganza on the Ruston Way waterfront. Personnel are needed to help with: Setup, cleanup, hospitality, distribution of information, staffing booths, controlling parking, stage management, children's activities, the airshow, transportation, security, recreation events, and boating activities. Openings also exist for individuals with an interest in or background in graphic design, media relations, event management, and fundraising. Please call (253) 682-1446.
