Current and Past Positions:  Secretary/Human Resources Director, Started out helping with the VIP Reception, then stepped up when a volunteer coordinator was needed.  Elected to the Board three years ago as Secretary.

Occupation:  Director of Membership Marketing for Master Builders Association of Pierce County.

Why I Became Involved in Freedom Fair:  Rebecca Houser recruited me in eight years ago!  

Description of What I do For Freedom Fair:  Coordinate the recruitment, training, and supervision of 150 volunteers who work on Jul 3,4, and 5.  Ensure they are able to do their jobs in a safe environment, and that they are appreciated and rewarded for their efforts. 

My Vision for the Future of the Freedom Fair:  We have such a unique festival in that the location is naturally beautiful and is run entirely by volunteers.  I’m proud to be a part of the celebration of our great country and recognition of the many sacrifices made by its citizens.  I also can’t think of a more beautiful place to have the festival.  My hope is that we’ll continue to offer first-class family entertainment to the community, as well as providing a great opportunity for community members to be a part of the festival as volunteers.
