Angela Jossy, formerly known as Ruthiblu, started out as a solo singer/songwriter accompanying herself on keyboards in coffee shops and farmer's markets. It didn't take long for her to make news. One of her early performances at the Tacoma Farmers Market was noted in an article in the Tacoma News Tribune. Linda Dahl, who organized the market's vendor committee, said, "She had the crowd captivated."

Local promoter Terry Kuehn of TacomaScene.com has this to say about Angela. Angela Jossy can definitely take a bow for putting a benefit together. And besides that, Angie is a very talented singer. Angela is also a well known freelance music journalist.
