M-SET

PERFORMS AT THE TACOMA FREEDOM FAIR

JULY 4, 2003 FROM 3:00 PM TO 3:45 PM

ON THE EMERALD QUEEN-RAM LONGHORN STAGE

Quirky, aggressive pop to corrupt the innocent! Founded in 1997 by Scojo, M-Set has stormed their was through the Seattle club scene to emerge as the city’s most promising musical offering in years. M-set starts with the sarcastic punk-pop roots of bands such as Sum 41, Blink 182 and Alien Art Farm.  However, M-set raises the stakes with a multi-fronted line-up, hooky harmonies and a humorous charm reminiscent of The Beatles.  Harmony, melody, and personality are the key ingredients that make up the unmistakable draw of M-set.  Their live show is boisterous, energetic and unstoppable.  Cue cards, tattoos, pants around the ankles and a 6’7” 300 pound dancer are par for the course.  But, some say it’s the unbridled nipple rubbing that keeps the audience spellbound and coming back for more.  Every member of M-set is a marketable instrumentalist, vocalist and personality in his own rite.  Their musical prowess and versatility are providing the roots for a long future, yet their unmistakable sound; strong marketable niche and undeniable personality are making them instant hits.
