The New Blues Brothers

PERFORMING AT THE TACOMA FREEDOM FAIR

JULY 4, 2005 FROM 8:45 PM TO 10:00 PM.

ON THE EMERALD QUEEN - RAM BIGHORN STAGE

Jake and Elwood are back with their musical hi-jinx of the '50s, '60s and '70s. Joining them is the driving rhythm of The Blues Power Revue, a band that offers the high-energy realism of the R&B groups of the late '60s. Polished musical performances combined with unpredictable audience participation make for a well-rounded show for all ages.

The New Blues Brothers Revue was formed in 1983, making it the oldest and longest running Blues Brothers tribute act on the West Coast. Kenny Elhard performs the role of Jake, while Mitch Reems is Elwood. For three years, in the mid-'90s, they were the house band in the Kingdome for the Seattle Seahawks. They performed at the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle and have appeared with such musical greats as Chuck Berry, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bo Diddley and Little Richard. They are a perennial favorite in Puget Sound casinos, festivals, and events.
