PERFORMING AT THE TACOMA FREEDOM FAIR JULY 4, 2000 FROM 8:15PM TO 10:15 PM ON THE C.I. SHENANIGANS/ RAM STAGE The story begins in 1969 when Randy Linder, the band's front-man, attended his first major concert at the Arena in Seattle. That concert was Creedence Clearwater Revival and the impression they made would last a lifetime. Through all the years since then Randy has been performing and noticing that the CCR songs on his list would draw compliments from the audience. Finally in January of 2000 Randy formed a new four piece band which began rehearsing to duplicate, as close as possible, that mesmerizing Bayou sound of CCR. The special attention to detail by all four members has resulted in a show that thoroughly pleases Creedence fans of all ages. When you watch the show it is obvious that you are watching four seasoned musicians doing what they love to do. You will hear all of the great hits that came out of CCR from 1968 through 1972 and also a few of the more obscure songs. The enthusiasm from the stage results in a happy audience and an encore every time. THE CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIEW CONSISTS OF: |
