The members of the Tacoma Events Commission, a community-based, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, invite you to help make the annual 4th of July Freedom Fair a big success again year. We invite you to attend and have fun. Admission is free but donations are needed to help fund what so many will enjoy. We still need donors, sponsors, and volunteers who are willing to make a difference. Sunday, July 6th, 2014 will find us at the Tacoma Narrows Airport for “Freedom Fair Wings & Wheels,” featuring an air show, car show, and motorcycle show, as well as live entertainment, displays, vendors, and flying demonstrations.

On July 4th, finally, the big event all along the Ruston Way waterfront!! Join us all day on the 4th of July for Freedom Fair, featuring all the usual 4th of July activities, airshows, great food, vendors, exhibits, rides, and events - along with a lot of very exciting new ones! It's the South Sound's biggest annual event, and a party that you don't want to miss, which ends with the Northwest's biggest firework show over Puget Sound!
You are invited to the BEST place to watch the Freedom Fair Air Show and Fireworks on July 4th! You'll be right in the center of the action. It’s a great place for fantastic photos of the aircraft with the sun at your back and the water below your feet as the aircraft soar over Commencement Bay. The Freedom Fair Fan Club on the Les Davis Pier is the place to be! It’s where the air show is controlled and where the announcers are based. You’ll see and hear live interviews and everything going on, plus the soundtrack for the fireworks show too!
