King Kom Beaux is a driving, dynamic blues trio comprised of three seasoned veteran and award winning musicians:

Doug Kearney is Louisiana born and raised and it is his deep “Southern Bayou” style of electric slide / blues guitar playing, writing and singing that sets the soul stirring tone of the King Kom Beaux sound. Doug relocated his family from Southern Louisiana to the Pacific Northwest in the mid 80’s and has etched his indelible mark, both down South and on the Northwest music scenes as one of the premier guitar slingers to be found anywhere. His CD “My Back Yard” (available on CD Baby) embodies the virulent styling’s of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Rock that are so deeply rooted in the South and enjoyed everywhere.

Billy Barner is a Pacific Northwest Native, but was exposed to New Orleans jazz, second line, Dixieland and Chicago Blues by his piano player father at an early age. Founding member of many widely known bands, Billy is and has been highly recognized as a solid “Pocket” style drummer and singer for over five decades, receiving multiple Blues Awards and nominations from Washington Blues Society and The Tacoma Blues Awards Festival. Billy represented The South Sound Blues Association at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2010 and again in 2013 as drummer and vocalist in Blues Redemption, making it to the semi finals competing against and outshining some of the best Blues Bands that Blues Associations [world wide] had to offer, both years.

Joe Hendershot is also highly recognized in the Northwest music community for his solid rhythmic bass playing. Joe has earned a well deserved reputation as a high level musician and the driving force behind the many successful bands that he has performed in over several decades. Joe has represented The S.S.B.A four times at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Twice with Michael Miller band and twice with Blues Redemption. Together, these three produce the infectious groove that is best described as “Skillet Hot - Cajun Spiced - Bayou Blues.” Or, as Kearney puts it in his original La Fleur Rouge…. Get ready for “ A Heapin’ Mess o’ The Blues”.
