Born from the ashes of the legendary local cover band, "HiWatt", The Rain Kings (featuring Jess Hamilton, Andy Volmer and Tod Hobart from HiWatt, Pat Stevens from Hard Cover and Jeff Waibel from Soda Jerk) are a new band pledging to play only modern and relevant rock covers. The Rain Kings vow to NEVER play Sweet Home Alabama, Brown Eyed Girl, Mustang Sally, Mony Mony, Stranglehold or any of the bazzilion lame covers every "classic rock" cover bands does (unless the request is written on a $100 bill!!). They only cover songs by bands such as Train, Counting Crows, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Jet, All American Rejects, Collective Soul, Green Day, Matchbox 20, Eve 6, Finger 11 and much, much more CURRENT rock.
