The Red Hot Blues Sisters have taken the International Blues community by surprise with the power and depth of their musicianship. As Washington Blues Society Best Band of 2008 & ‘07/‘06 nominees they represent the cream of the Northwest blues crop! Audiences and promoters alike love the innovative original songwriting and the fresh electric soulful feel that spices their Red Hot blues. Selective covers of traditional standards shine with the power of Aretha and the pearl in-laid guitar coolness of Bonnie Raitt & Eric Clapton. The one two punch of brilliantly burning vocal genius and blazingly sweet blues guitar licks demand attention!
Founded by gutsy melodic blues guitarist Teri Anne Wilson and powerful world class vocalist Suze Sims; the Blues Sisters are joined by top class musicians on drums, bass, and horns that continue to put out the searing 100 degree record-breaking heat of their award winning sound wherever they go. Highlights of 2010 brought The Red Hot Blues Sisters to prominent festivals including The Montreal International Jazz & Blues Festival, The Monterey Bay Blues Festival, Vancouver Winter Olympics, Edmundston Blues Festival-New Brunswick, Blues For Food Festival-Seattle, Bothell Park Summer Festival, Porterhouse Brew Festival, Seattle Peace Concert, Mill Creek Festival, Golden Spike Days Festival-BC, Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival, and clubs in Europe, Canada, and the US.
