Rural Route 3 is an all original, bluesy, funky, straight-up Rock-n-Roll band from Tacoma, WA. The band features a slide guitar, a groovy bass, and a tommy-gun drummer€all of whom combine to form an edgy, energetic style of music. The release of their 3rd cd, The Bad Monkey Blues Band, demonstrates the power of original songwriting, a diversity of musical influences, and the energy of live rock-n-roll. While Rural Route 3 focuses on original material, we have been known to delight our fans from time to time with a unique twist on a cover-song.
