WHY FUSS?
TAKE THE BUS!

Don't want to miss the spectacular Tacoma Freedom Fair this Fourth of July, but don't want to drive? Why worry about where to park and how far you'll have to walk to attend Tacoma's annual Independence Day celebration on the Ruston Way waterfront. The Pierce Transit Fourth of July Express Service is the best way to arrive, and so easy to use. Just park free at one of the designated Park-n-Ride lots and ride the bus to the main entrance of the Freedom Fair at North 30th and McCarver Street in Old Town Tacoma.

PIERCE TRANSIT 4TH OF JULY EXPRESS
Pierce Transit Express buses transport you nonstop to Freedom Fair, starting at 10:00am. Buses leave Park & Ride lots at the Tacoma Dome Station and Tacoma Community College (S. 19th & Mildred). Service runs every fifteen minutes until 8:00 p.m. and resumes after the fireworks.

THE ALL-DAY PASS
Buy a Pierce Transit Weekend/Holiday All-Day Pass for $3.00 to receive unlimited rides on the 4th. All-Day Passes are purchased on the 4th at TCC and the Tacoma Dome Station. The one-way 4th of July Express fare is $1.50, the same as our regular service fare. Customers with a Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP) receive 50% off.

July 2008 PugetPasses, Summer Youth Passes and Weekend/Holiday All-Day Passes are good on the 4th of July Express (seniors and persons with disabilities must show an RRFP with a 75¢ PugetPass). Your valid transfer is good for $1.50 toward the purchase of an All-Day Pass.
