Jim Valley has been touted as an International Pied Piper whose songs have helped children all over the world open up and express themselves through music and movement. Jim is a Parent’s Choice Award winning children’s musician, and has produced five family albums, a songbook, a musical play and children’s books. Since 1980 he has helped children put their words and feelings into music, instilling in them a sense of creativity, and enabling them to feel special about themselves.

Children from around the world write many of the lyrics on Jim’s albums during his Rainbow Planet Workshops. In his lively concerts, Jim leads an interactive musical adventure for the whole family. His energetic performances include original upbeat tunes and good old classic rock ‘n roll. A former member of the 60’s group, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Jim now uses his talents with children to explore themes of friendship, creativity, self-esteem, and caring for our planet.
